At Dreampackers (the “App”, the “Service”), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Notice explains what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, how we protect it, and what rights you have regarding your information.
By accessing, registering for, or using the App or our website https://dreampackerstravelapp.com/ (the “Site”), you accept this Privacy Notice.

e) Payments and subscriptions (if applicable)
Purchase/subscription data (for example, plan, date, status, currency, country, transaction identifiers).
We do not store full card numbers. Payments are processed through external providers (for example, Google Play / Apple / payment processors), who may collect data under their own policies.
a) Technical and device information
IP address, device identifiers, operating system, App version, model, regional/language settings, browser type (if you use web), carrier/network, and similar data.
b) Usage and analytics data
Actions within the App (screens visited, clicks, searches, interaction with itineraries, time spent, operational events), and aggregated performance metrics.
c) Log data
Server and/or hosting/infrastructure logs: date/time, errors, security events, referring/exit pages, and data for diagnostics and abuse prevention.
d) Cookies and similar technologies (Site/Web)
If you use the Site, we may use cookies or equivalent technologies to remember preferences, measure traffic, and improve performance. You can manage cookies through your browser and, when applicable, through consent banners.
Approximate location (for example, derived from IP or device settings).
Precise location (GPS) only if you explicitly enable it (when the App requests it and you authorize it). You can disable it at any time in your device permissions.
a) Third-party login (if you enable it)
If you sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook, or others, we may receive data such as your email address, name, photo, and the provider account ID to authenticate you.
b) Information provided by other users
If another user tags you, invites you to a trip, shares content with you, or mentions you, we may receive that information.
c) Infrastructure and analytics providers
We may receive technical information related to service delivery, fraud prevention, analytics, and errors (for example, crash reports).
We use your information to:
Create and manage your account.
Enable you to create itineraries, save places, post content, and use social features.
Sync data across your devices and maintain your experience.
Personalize the experience (for example, language, recommendations, suggestions).
Understand how the App is used to improve features and design.
Develop new features and optimize performance.
Detect and prevent fraud, spam, unauthorized access, attacks, objectionable content, and illegal activities.
Enforce our Terms and moderate content when necessary.
Send notifications about your account, social activity, Service changes, updates, security notices, and support.
Send promotional messages when applicable, with an option to unsubscribe.
Manage subscriptions, validate payment status, enable Premium features, issue receipts where applicable, and prevent payment fraud.
Comply with legal obligations, respond to valid requests from authorities, resolve disputes, and protect the rights, safety, and property of users and the Service.
Depending on your jurisdiction, we process your data based on:
Performance of a contract (providing the Service).
Your consent (for example, precise location, marketing where applicable).
Legitimate interest (improving security, preventing fraud, basic analytics, support).
Compliance with a legal obligation (tax, audit, authority requirements).
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only when necessary to operate the Service or for legal reasons.
Your profile (for example, display name, photo, country/language if you make it visible).
Posts, comments, itineraries, or trips you set as shared/public.
Social activity (likes, followers, etc.) depending on the feature and your settings.
We use providers that help us operate the Service (for example, hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, notifications, support, payment processing). These providers may process data only under our instructions and to provide the service.
Common examples in apps like Dreampackers: cloud infrastructure services (e.g., Google/Firebase), analytics/crash reporting, push messaging, transactional email, and support tools.
Abuse prevention (reCAPTCHA / App Check).
To protect the Service and prevent fraud, spam, and automated traffic, we may use verification technologies such as reCAPTCHA (including its integration through Firebase App Check on the web version). In these cases, Google Cloud may process technical data (e.g., IP address, browser/device information, and interaction signals) solely to provide verification and security services. This processing is carried out under Dreampackers’ instructions as the data controller and in accordance with Google Cloud’s applicable data processing terms.
If you purchase Premium, processing may be done by Google Play, Apple App Store, or third parties. They may collect data under their policies. We primarily receive the transaction status/result and data necessary to enable your subscription.
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith it is necessary to:
Comply with the law, legal process, or valid requests.
Protect the rights, safety, and property of Dreampackers, users, or third parties.
Investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to reasonable safeguards.
Some features allow you to define whether your content is public, shared, or private:
Public content: visible to other users or the public depending on the feature (for example, a public profile or public posts).
Private content: visible only to you or to people you grant access to (for example, private itineraries or collaborations).
Please note that if you share content with others, those users may interact with it or save copies (for example, screenshots). We implement controls, but we cannot control actions outside the Service.
We may use analytics tools to understand App usage and improve it. If in the future we display ads or integrate ad networks, they may use cookies/device IDs to measure effectiveness and personalize ads under their policies. Where required by law, we will request your consent and provide control options.
You may opt out of promotional communications by following the unsubscribe link or writing to support@dreampackerstravelapp.com
We retain your information:
While your account is active, to provide the Service.
Afterwards, for as long as necessary to: comply with legal obligations, audits, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and enforcing agreements.
If you request account deletion, we will make reasonable efforts to delete or anonymize your data, except where we must retain it due to legal obligations (for example, transaction records).
You may request deletion of your account and associated data:
From the App settings (if enabled), or
By writing to support@dreampackerstravelapp.com
After verifying your request, we will delete your account and associated personal data within a reasonable period, unless we must retain certain information for legal, security, or audit reasons.
Note: If you participate in collaborative trips, some of your content may remain where necessary to preserve the integrity of shared itineraries (for example, comments within a shared trip). In that case, we will attempt to anonymize it where possible.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, for example:
Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and, where applicable, encryption at rest.
Access controls and authentication.
Data-level security rules and permissions.
Error monitoring, abuse prevention, and best practices.
However, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may store and process data on servers located outside your country (for example, in the U.S. or the EU) through infrastructure providers. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred and processed internationally in accordance with this Notice and applicable law.
The App is not designed to intentionally collect data from minors without consent.
If your jurisdiction requires you to be of legal age, you must comply.
If we allow use from a minimum age (for example, 13+), we may require parental/guardian consent where applicable and limit certain features to protect minors.
If you believe a minor provided us data without authorization, contact us at support@dreampackerstravelapp.com so we can review and take action.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights over your data, including:
Access (know what data we have).
Rectification (correct inaccurate data).
Cancellation / deletion (request erasure).
Objection (object to certain processing).
Portability (receive a structured copy, where applicable).
Restriction of processing (limit certain uses).
Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent).
To exercise them, write to support@dreampackerstravelapp.com. We may request information to verify your identity.
We may update this Privacy Notice periodically. We will publish the current version indicating the update date. If changes are significant, we will notify you within the App or through reasonable means.
